unlisted Cayman Islands
company which was
incorporated in January,
1999. The Company owns
or is the exclusive
beneficiary of the
world-wide patents,
trademarks and
distribution rights for
Lyprinol®.
Pharmalink's
administrative and
financial management is
operated out of Hong
Kong and Manila,
Philippines. The Company
contracts to Pharmalink
Marketing Services Pty.
Ltd in Burleigh Heads,
Queensland, 4220,
Australia its marketing
and production oversight
functions.
Robert L. Meyer (52) is
the Chairman and
Managing Director of
Pharmalink International
Limited. He is also the
founder, Chairman and
Managing Director of
Special Assets Limited.
He received a BA in
History from Columbia
University, New York, in
1971 and qualified as
Juris Doctor (J.D.) at
Columbia University
School of Law in 1974.
He is a member of the
New York, Florida and
Georgia state bars. He
practised as a lawyer,
first as a law clerk to
a US District Court
Judge in Atlanta,
Georgia, and, from 1976,
with Coudert Brothers,
New York. He transferred
to that firm's Hong
Kong office in 1978,
leaving in 1981 to
become a co-founder and
executive director in
Hong Kong of the First
Pacific Group. In 1985,
he founded FP Special
Assets Limited, the Hong
Kong-listed predecessor
to Special Assets
Limited.
Mr. Meyer was a director
for seventeen years
(1981-1998) of First
Pacific Company Limited,
the Hong Kong-listed
holding company for the
First Pacific Group of
companies, engaged in
marketing and
distribution, real
estate services, banking
and telecommunications
in the Asia/Pacific
Region. Mr. Meyer was
also a director of First
Pacific Davies Limited,
the real estate division
of First Pacific Company
Limited in Hong Kong
from 1984 to 1988. Other
positions held by Mr.
Meyer include serving as
a director (1982-88) of
Hibernia Bancshares
Corporation and The
Hibernia Bank, both
companies located in San
Francisco and affiliates
of First Pacific Co. He
was also appointed by
the Hong Kong government
to be a director of The
Hong Kong Futures
Exchange (1987-89).
Mr Waitzer (50) is a
citizen of Australia and
resident in Currumbin,
Queensland, Australia.
He was born in the
United Kingdom and has
been involved in the
nutriceuticals business
in Australia for twelve
years. In 1987 he was
the founder and Managing
Director of Bodycare
Corporation Pty. Limited
and later, Australian
Bodycare International
Limited, companies which
specialised in the
production, distribution
and marketing of tea
tree oil, lavender oil
and other neutriceutical
products. The assets of
the Australian Bodycare
group were sold in
January, 1999, allowing
Mr Waitzer to devote
full time to his
principal employment
position as Managing
Director of Pharmalink
Marketing Services Pty.
Limited in Australia.
Mr Anthony Jacobs (53)
is a citizen of
Australia and a
permanent resident in
Germany. He received a
BA from the Australian
National University and
completed a Post
Graduate Diploma in
Business from the
Queensland University.
He is the Managing
Director of Pharmalink
Services Europe GmbH,
the Company's European
agent, and Procurist of
Pharmalink International
GmbH, the Company's
European sales
subsidiary, based in
Leichlingen, Germany. Mr
Jacobs is also the
Director of Sales and
Marketing for a Swiss
Anthocyanin Red Fruits
Extract company called
BerryPharma AG. Mr.
Jacobs has over 27 years
experience in the food
and natural extracts
businesses.
Dennis
Z. Goquingco
Dennis Z Goquingco (50)
is the Finance Director
of Pharmalink
International Limited.
He is also Executive
Director of Special
Assets Limited and is
the founder and
President of Special
Assets Philippines Inc.
in Manila. He received a
B.A. in Economics from
Ateneo de Manila
University and a Masters
degree in Business
Management from the
Asian Institute of
Management. After a
career in financial
services which included
various positions, from
1973 to 1987, in Hong
Kong and Manila with
First Pacific Bank
Limited, Traders Royal
Bank, Asiavest Limited
(a Hong Kong-based
merchant bank) and
Bancom Group (a
Manila-based investment
and merchant bank), he
joined F.P. Special
Assets Limited and
became the president of
Special Assets
Philippines Inc. in
1988. From 1991 to 1993,
he served as President
and Chief Executive
Officer of First Pacific
Land (Philippines) Inc.
and a director and
Treasurer of Pacific
Plaza Inc. in Manila.
Nardo
R. Leviste
Nardo R. Leviste (49) is
the Finance Director of
Pharmalink International
Limited. He is also
President and founder of
Pharmalink
Administrative Services
Inc. in Manila,
Philippines. He received
a Bachelors degree in
Commerce major in
Accounting at the De La
Salle University, a
candidate for Masters
degree in Business
Administration at the De
La Salle Graduate School
of Business and a
Certified Public
Accountant. He has held
various positions in
financial management in
various companies. He
joined First Pacific
Special Assets
Philippines in 1987 as
Chief Financial Officer
and has held CFO
position in other First
Pacific companies in the
Philippines, such as
First Pacific Land and
First Pacific Realty
Partners. Mr. Leviste is
also active in community
service. He is a
founding director and
incumbent President of
Habitat For Humanity in
the City of Muntinlupa,
a non-profit Christian
organization dedicated
to the mission of
eliminating poverty
housing and rebuilding
communities.
Pharmalink Marketing
Australia Pty. Ltd. ("PMA")
is a Queensland,
Australia incorporated
company which provides
marketing, distribution
and production oversight
services to Pharmalink
International Limited on
a contractual basis. The
Managing Director of PMA
is John Waitzer and he
is assisted by a team of
associates who are the
owners of PMA.
PMA's marketing
services include the
promotion to and
communication with the
company's distributors,
medical researchers and
writers, health
magazines and others
located worldwide. PMA's
production oversight
services include
supervision of the
contracted quantities of
Lyprinol purchased from
the company's principal
supplier, the MacLab
group.
